Saving Lives and Property: Roslyn Felton

Recently, when third shift Emergency Dispatch Operator, Roslyn Felton received a fire alarm from the R. Kist residence she quickly called the home but no one answered. Without delay Roslyn called the fire department and they arrived to find food burning on the stove and the kitchen filled with smoke. The fire was quickly put out, saving the Kist home.

After the Emergency

We later learned that Mr. Kist had put his dinner on the stove to cook and stepped out. He began a conversation with a neighbor and lost track of time. Thankfully the home had no smoke damage and the Mr. Kist was very thankful for the quick response.

Saving Lives and Property: NahShon Wisner



NahShon Wisner received a fire alarm from the B. Murphy residence. When NahShon called the home, Mr. Murphy said, “I have a fire in the house! Send the fire department!” NahShon replied, “Get out of the house. I’m sending help now.” With lights flashing and sirens blaring, the firemen zoomed to the Murphy house and arrived in no time.

After the Emergency

A few hours later we learned the fire at the Murphy’s house was put out quickly and thankfully, before it could spread to the whole house. Mr. Murphy told us the fire started in the air conditioner air handler. Due to Monitronics’ speedy dispatch, his house has only some slight smoke damage. He went on to say, “My alarm system saved our house. It’s excellent and I love it. Thank you.”

Alarm Signal: Burglary

On Wednesday morning, around 4:30am, EDO Stephanie Rodriquez received a burglary signal from a store in Little Rock, AR. She quickly called the business and when no one answered she immediately dispatched the Little Rock Police.

In no time, two officers arrived and found a window kicked in and some siding removed. It appeared to them the burglar must have been scared off from the deafening sound of the alarm. 

AFTER THE EMERGENCY

A couple of days later we made a courtesy call to the customer. They said, “Thanks to our alarm system, our business has been saved twice by Monitronics. The alarm worked perfectly and the losses are under $50. Thank you!”

On a Sunday afternoon around 5:30pm, EDO Lakima Price received a fire alarm from Nevada. When Lakima called the home and no one answered she immediately called the Fire Department and they were on their way to the home in no time.

After the emergency

A few hours later we learned there was an actual fire at the home and it was put out before it spread to the whole house. The homeowner, Mr. Pablo F. told he left some food cooking on the stove when he left to go shopping. The kitchen filled with thick black smoke setting off the alarm. He went on to say, “My alarm system saved our house and it’s the best thing I pay for. I love it. Thank you.”
